LUSH Cosmetics creates handmade beauty products using fresh fruits and vegetables and the finest essential oils. With legions of loyal fans in 49 different countries, the company sells its wares in retail stores and online, with an ecommerce storefront for each country.
Like their products, the LUSH website was created in-house. The company was happy with the look and feel, but they wanted a more consistent approach on the backend that would streamline multi-site deployments. After consideration, LUSH chose the Demandware platform. Then they came to us for implementation.
While the bulk of our work spanned technical consulting, custom development, and ongoing support, we also offered up design oversight to ensure the site took full advantage of Demandware's powerful functionality. Then we conducted a full Gigya implementation, bringing forth the impassioned social reviews and commentary of the brand's many vocal fans.
Now, LUSH has three new online storefronts in North America: the U.S., Canadian French, and Canadian English. On the surface, the sites look just like those for other countries. But underneath, they feature a powerful platform that gives LUSH the freedom to develop and support multi-site deployments that meet the needs of their customers—and that's a beautiful thing.
