In Seattle, coffee's like air. So when The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf asked us to redesign their online shop and implement a new ecommerce platform, we jumped at the chance. And it wasn't just the grande, triple, skinny caramel macchiato talking.
The Bean, as it's affectionately called by devotees, is the oldest and largest privately held specialty coffee and tea retailer in the U.S. Known for its excellent selection of the finest Arabica coffees and hand-picked teas, the company is an international icon with more than 800 stores in over 20 countries.
Partnering with their marketing and IT teams, we first solidified their ecommerce strategy. Then we acted as guide through the selection of a new ecommerce platform to fit their technical and budget requirements. Once that was set, we redesigned the online store to maximize shoppability and sharpen The Bean's brand presence. Finally, we managed implementation on the new ecommerce platform.
As of January 2012, The Bean has a brand-new online presence and a nice big cup of outstanding customer feedback. They continue to work with us on creative strategy, design, and technical consulting for a wide range of ecommerce and digital marketing initiatives. Coffee anyone?
