Mobile Commerce Website

Brooks Sports

Light, full-featured, and true to the brand—Brooks Sports makes the move to branded mobile commerce.

Summary

Brooks Sports is a running company. It’s all they do. And a big part of their success is the way they understand runners and every nuance of the run. Like the high of banging out 10k at 5 a.m. Or taking a lap around the lake with your toddler in the stroller. Whatever the feeling, if it has to do with running, Brooks gets it. They call it "Run Happy." It colors everything they do. And runners love them for it.

With more and more runners using mobile devices to shop online, it came time for Brooks to take their brand mobile. And When Brooks called on us to help, we were happy to take up the challenge. We’d previously teamed up with Brooks on a number of initiatives, including their highly successful ecommerce site, BrooksRunning.com—which did a standout job of driving additional sales while remaining true to the Brooks brand. As we all considered how the mobile commerce experience would look, feel, and act, everyone agreed that the strategy was pretty straightforward. We put Run Happy front and center once again, along with the top-notch Brooks gear that runners love.

The result: m.BrooksRunning.com. It looks and feels just like the main Brooks ecommerce site on the desktop, along with added touches that make for a light and full-featured site. As runners pay it a visit, they see the same things they’ve come to love from Brooks—the gear, the insights, and the unmistakable Run Happy brand.

From Our Client

"We needed a mobile-optimized website pronto, but had little available time to get it done. LiveAreaLabs was a complete lifesaver: they designed the site and then coordinated with all parties needed to launch. Both the high quality of the end product, and the speed with which it was delivered, reflected LiveAreaLabs' strong capabilities in the mobile space. We were also very impressed by their willingness to go above and beyond throughout the entire project. Thank you LiveAreaLabs—we could not have done this project without you."
