Job Description
The QA Engineer position offers an opportunity to play a key role in creating the next generation of ecommerce sites for our customers. This role works directly with our designers, technologists, and clients to create cutting-edge experiences across a variety of platforms. The work is hands-on, engaging, team-oriented, and focused on high-visibility for consumer brands you know.

CTO
Partners closely with
Front-end Developers, Creative Leads, Technical Leads, and Project Management
Responsibilities
- Write test plans/cases to ensure that requirements have been successfully satisfied
- Execute test plans in an organized, systematic way
- Thoroughly document defects and enter them into a defect tracking system
- Track defects through to resolution
- Gather test data from appropriate sources within the client’s business
- Write testing strategy documents to compliment business requirements
- Work with Project Manager staff to align timeline/resources
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelors or Master’s degree from a 4 year university. Computer Science or technical degree is preferred
- MUST have proficiency in technologies used to build enterprise web applications such as SQL, Java, J2EE, PHP, .NET, Spring, Struts, HTML, JavaScript, and/or CSS
- Experience and knowledge of all major web browsers and their inherent differences/limitations
- Experience/Knowledge of QA processes as it relates to software development
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with standard Development and QA tools is desired. (Jira, Quality Center, Firebug, Fiddler, etc…)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Available to work on site in our Seattle office

- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills
- Professional experience at a large consulting firm, an enterprise software firm, or a large agency
- Experience with ecommerce sites is a plus
